For the second task of the Summer Learning Journey we needed to create a beat using Groove Pizza. In my beat I used the cymbals, kick drum and the snare drum, it was all in the jazz and hip hop genre. I started of with the base of the beat with is the snare drum. I felt like it needed some cymbals so I added in the crash and ride. It sounded good but there was something missing so I added the kick drum and it was amazing.
I enjoyed this task because I used my prior knowledge about music to help me create this beat.
