CARE Awards – Motivational Posters

LI: To create 3  motivational posters using quotes from inspirational people to help inspire others.

For my silver excellence badge I needed to create 3 motivational posters about inspirational quotes from famous people. For example: One of Ronaldo’s most inspirational quote is “talent without working hard is nothing,” this inspires me to work hard and to never give up on my dreams.

I enjoyed this task because I found some inspiration to never give up even if there are difficulties.

Interview with a Kindergarden Cook

I completed this task so that I can achieve my silver respect badge. I needed to interview a person with a uniform. I interviewed my mum which is a cook for a kindergarden. I asked my mum a few questions for her to answer one of the questions was how long she has been a kindergarden cook. She answered “6 years”

I enjoyed this because I know what my mum job is and now I understand what kindergarden cook does.

Respected Leader | Nelson Mandela

For my respect CARE award badge I needed to research about a respected leader. My respected leader is Nelson Mandela and he is a former president of South Africa. He was born on the 18th of July in 1918 and he sadly died on the 5th of December 2013. Did you know that he was imprisoned for 27 years because he was accused of high treason?

I found this task interesting because I learnt about a respected leader and how he is best known.

It was originally written by Otis Redding in 1965 but it was never the same once she did a few changes and made it into a female empowerment.
